报告人：Professor Charles Brennan

报告题目：Introduction to divisions in University of Otago

Professor Charles Brennan is the Pro-Vice-Chancellor Sciences at the University of Otago and is an internationally recognised scientist with a career spanning three decades at leading institutions across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Plant Science from Wye College, London, and a PhD in Food Science and Nutrition from King’s College London. His academic work has focused on the interface of food science, biochemistry and human nutrition, with particular emphasis on bioactive ingredients on human health and wellbeing. He is a fellow of a number of learned societies and serves as Editor in Chief of two JCR academic journals. Prior to joining Otago, Professor Brennan was at RMIT University in Melbourne, where he led high impact research, mentored emerging scientists, and fostered collaborative, industry engaged research cultures.

报告人：Professor Indrawati Oey

报告题目：Application of pulsed electric field in food quality and safety

Professor Indrawati Oey is the Chair Professor of Food Science at the University of Otago. She is a leading expert in food science, dedicated to advancing innovative food processing technologies and educating the next generation of food scientists. She holds esteemed fellowships with Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), the International Academy of Food Science and Technology (IAFoST), and the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology. Previously, she served as Chair of Training and Development for the European Union-funded NovelQ project and a Distinguished Professor by the Institute of Food Science and Technology at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (2017). Currently, she is a Principal Investigator at the Riddet Institute Center for Research Excellence, and a President for the International Society for Electroporation-Based Technologies and Treatments.
